I have an external drive that I want to format to FAT32. How do I do that on Windows 7?
There are lots of ways to Format an external hard drive to FAT32. You can use this tool, Verbatim FAT32 Tool to this, just select the drive and press format, pretty sweet and simple.
If you don’t want to download any other tools you can use the command prompt to do the same. Here we show you ways to use diskpart to format your drive or just use the command format /FS:FAT32 X:, replacing X with your external drive letter.
