How to View Text Boundaries in Word 2010

Users who frequently perform document formatting may benefit from displaying the text boundaries in a Word document.

Before

Here what Word looks like before we add the text boundaries.

How to do this

Open Word 2010 and click on File to go to the backstage. Click on options to open the options menu.

Under the options menu click the advance in the left frame and scroll down to Show Document content section and check the box next to Show text boundaries.

Click ok and look at Word now.

These same steps can be performed on Word 2007.
