One of the cool features to Word 2010 and Word 2007 is the ability to create and publish blog posts. Here is a quick tutorial on how to set it up.
Getting Started
Open up Word 2010, or Word 2007, and click on the File tab to go to the Backstage View. Click on New then select Blog post.
A prompt will open asking you to register a blog account. Click on register now.
Select your blog provider from the dropdown menu.
Then enter your information, URL, user name, and the password. Check the remember password check box for easy use.
Writing and Publishing a Blog Post
After all that setup is out of the way, just start typing away. One cool thing to point out is the option in Word 2010 to take a screen shot, look at this article to learn how to do it, How to Take Screenshots with Word 2010.
When you are ready just go to the Publish button under the Blog Post tab. You have two choices, Publish, or Publish as Draft.
You will get a nice little conformation and you are done.
