iOS devices, and just about any mobile device now a days, have given us the ability to take millions of photos. Lets be honest with each other, we love taking pictures. From food, cloths, to random scenery, we fill our mobile devices full of them. With all of these photos stored away in our devices, one thing that drives me insane is a crooked image, well besides all caps on iOS. Luckily modifying our photos before we post them on the internet is a breeze in iOS. Here is how to rotate photos in iOS using the Photos app.
Rotate Photos in iOS with Photos
Fixing your crooked photos on iOS is easy. Just head over to the Photos app located on your iOS devices main screen. The Photos app is usually near the the Calendar and Camera app unless you move them or removed the stock iOS apps.
Once you locate the Photos app find the photo you want to rotate. Press on the image and press the Edit button.
You will be taken to the photo editor within the Photos app. There are a lot of different tools you can use, but we are going to focus on the Crop tool. The Crop tool looks like a broken square, cut in half, with both pieces near each other. This tool is located at the bottom of the Photos app. Once you find it, press the Crop tool to open it up.
You will be within the Crop tool after pressing it. Here you can also crop your picture if it is too big, or simply straighten your photo. You can use the dial or the fixed rotator at the bottom of the screen.
After rotating your picture, simply press the Done button at the bottom right of your Photos app to save your changes. Now you will no longer have a crooked picture and upload it to any of your favorite social websites.
