The other day I was searching on the internet with my favorite search engine, Google, and I say something very strange in the search results. There were these ads that were not the regular Google ads. They were Buzzdock ads. Of course I got quite annoyed about this and proceeded to remove these horrible ads. If you seen this as well and want them gone, here is how to remove Buzzdock ads from internet searches and Windows 7.
What is Buzzdock?
Buzzdock is a light weight, downloadable application, that is supposed to enhance your search experience. So Buzzdock sits at the top of your search results just like this.
While Buzzdock is in no way a virus, it can just be annoying. I like to call this bloatware. Either an application I installed, installed Buzzdock, or I accidentally click yes to it while it was installing.
How to Remove Buzzdock Ads
To remove Buzzdock ads form your favorite search engine all you have to do is go to the Programs and Features. You can get there by searching for it under the Start Search menu. Then click on Programs and Features or just hit enter. Make sure you have you are using your administrative account.
You will be taken to the Programs and Features window. Here you can uninstall or change programs. To remove Buzzdock you will want to find the Yontoo application. This is what powers Buzzdock. So removing this will get uninstall Buzzdock. Right click on Yontoo and select Uninstall form the right click content menu.
The Yontoo uninstall will appear. You will want to select the radio button at the bottom to completely remove Yontoo applications. Make sure all the items in the box are checked as well. Click Next to continue with the uninstall.
Yontoo will give you a warning about how uninstalling Yontoo will completely remove applications like Buzzdock. Just make sure all your internet browsers are closed and click Yes to continue with the uninstall.
You will get a conformation that Yontoo has been removed. Click OK to continue.
Your default browser will open at the Yontoo uninstall page. Here you can tell them why you uninstalled the applications and other stuff. I just closed the browser, but if you want to tell them how annoying there application is be my quest.
After all of that is finished go back to your favorite search engine and search. All the Buzzdock stuff is now gone.
Just like we said earlier, Buzzdock is not a virus, spyware, malware. It is supposed to make searching better, even though I think it is really annoying. If you are afraid of getting a virus, then you should go and download the free antivirus software Microsoft Security Essentials. If spyware and malware is what you are worried about go and download free spyware and malware removal software here.
