Were you a big fan of the menu bar in Explorer in Windows XP? In Windows Vista and Windows 7 this bar is hidden by default. You can access it by pressing the ALT key, but it disappears after you are finished using it. Here is a simple little trick to display the menu permanently.
Frist thing to do is go to the Control Panel. Go to Start and click on Control Panel to the right.
From there find the Folder Options. If your Control Panel doesn’t look like this, image below, select Small Icons from the View by drop-down list.
On the Folder Options dialog box, go to the View tab. Find the Always show menus and check the box.
Now you will always have the menu bar in Explorer. If you want to remove it, simple go back to Folder Options in the Control Panel or go to Tools then Folder Options from the menu bar.
