Move Taskbar Icons in Windows 7

Are you tired of how the Windows 7 taskbar icons are arranged? This is a simple trick that lets you place the taskbar Icons anywhere you want like me I have them in the center but you can move them wherever you want.Here is a quick and easy way to move taskbar icons in Windows 7.

The first step is to Right Click on your taskbar and make sure it is not locked. If it is locked click the content menu to Unlock the taskbar.

After the taskbar is unlocked, right click on the taskbar and go to Toolbars content menu and select New Toolbar

Then Click on the New Folder button to create a new folder then select it. It doesn’t matter where the folder is, you can have it on your desktop or anywhere else. You can name the file anything you want just make sure to select the right folder.

Then go to the new toolbar and right click on it and click on the content menu Show Title to remove the title form the taskbar.

It will look like this after you uncheck it:

Then click and drag the new toolbar over to the left of the icons already on the taskbar. It will look something like this when you are down.

Then adjust the dots to the left to position your icons.

After you have them positioned lock the taskbar and delete the new folder you created. This will not remove the toolbar but it will keep the position you have your icons. Pretty neat for a quick tip. If you don’t like this or are tried of it, just remove the new toolbar you created.
