The Verizon iPhone has been release, months ago if anyone is checking, with the iOS version 4.2.6. If you remember a couple weeks ago we showed you how to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1, well this doesn’t work with 4.2.6. Luckily for all of us Verizon iPhone 4.2.6 user Green Pois0n released a new version of there super easy jailbreak software, RC 5.4. Here is how you jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4 with 4.2.6 with GreenPosi0n RC 5.4.
Jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4
The first step is an easy one. All you need to do is download GreenPosi0n, link below. Make sure you have your Verizon iPhone 4 plugged in to your computer. Then run GreenPosion RC 5.4. You will be at the main screen just like the picture below.
Turn off your device and plug it into your computer. Then press the Prepare to Jailbreak. Follow on screen instructions to put your iPhone into DFU mode. Which is relatively easy, just turn off the device. Then hold the power button, button on top, for about 3 seconds, then press the home button, while still holding the power button. If you did it right you will see a Ready to Jailbreak greyed out button and a Jailbreak! button on the bottom, click Jailbreak!.
Greenpois0n will take care of the rest and you will now have a jailbroken Verizon iPhone 4.2.6. If you are running into problems or errors, just restart the iPhone and try again. Even wiping and restoring and then trying to preform the jailbreak can help.
