Create Bootable Windows 7 Flash Drive the Easy Way

When it comes to creating a Windows 7 flash drive there are a ton of sites that make you do a bunch of stuff just to make your USB drive bootable. One of them is using diskpart to format your flash drive and then copy the contains of your Windows installation disk to the flash drive. Well the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool can do this for you. Here is a super easy way to create bootable Windows 7 Flash Drive.

First steps you need to do is download and install the Windows 7 USB/DVD tool from the link above. Next you will need to make sure you have an ISO handy for Windows 7. You can download Windows 7 ISO form here, just make sure you have a license if you want to install them.

After you have that all taken care of you then can open the program up. You wil be at the screen below. Browse to the location of the ISO you just downloaded and click Next when you are ready.

Then select what media you want to use, either a DVD or a USB device. We are going use USB device. You will need to make sure you have your USB flash drive plugged in. Click USB device to continue.

Then select the appropriate drive. All your data will be erased from the drive so please make sure you want to do this. Click on Begin Copying to start the process.

Then let it run and you will have a bootable flash drive.

    I did accordingly and created it successfully but when i try to install from it i get NTLDR is missing.How can i fix this?

    @Rony Try redoing it. There might be a problem with your Windows Disk or the flash drive.
