Have you ever had a boss come up behind you and you had music or games minimized on your task bar and they look at it and you get into trouble. Well I have. Maybe you had to let someone use your computer really quick and they started to peep at all your minimized windows. Annoying right? Well there is a cool app that will stop them from looking.
What it is?
LockThis! is a tiny little app that lets you lock your minimized windows by pressing the CTRL key while minimizing them.
How it Works?
First download and install LockThis! and go to the admin panel and change the default password. Go to the system tray right click on the green LockThis! icon and select Admin Panel.
The password you need to enter is “LockThis!” without any quotes. Then click okay
The admin panel will come up and you can change the password.
You will need to enter the default password “LockThis!” without the quotes, and then your new password twice. Easy enough. So to the fun stuff, keeping peeping Tom’s from looking. Just hold down the Ctrl key and click minimize.
You will get a little lock when the application is locked.
Go to the window you just close and try to open it you will be prompted for a password.
Enter your password and begin using your app.
Conclusion
This application doesn’t work on everything. Lick demoed above you can lock Chrome, but I heard there are issues with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Give it a try before you think it hides them. I still think this is a cool little app that helps use stop those peepers.
