Today we are going to look at another free iOS app called Credit Sesame. This is an awesome app that allows you to see your Experian credit score for free. Free iOS App Credit Sesame
When you install this bad boy you will have an option to login or to sign up for account. We highly recommend keeping track of your credit scores, either by getting a free credit score or by paying for a service. So launch Credit Sesame and you will be taken to the login screen. Sign up or log in to your account.
After you get everything set up or logged in you will instantly see this nice dashboard. Here you will see your credit score, some saving advice, how much debt you have, the value of your house if you have one, and other advice.
If you press the credit score icon from the image above you will be taken to the screen below. Here you can see how many points your score has moved as well quickly toggle to your credit usage on the bottom.
We recommend frequently checking your credit score ever month using Credit Sesame to see your credit worthiness and or some other means like a paid service.
Our biggest problem about Credit Sesame is how often it updates. Your score only updates about once a month, which is about the same for paid services. We would like to see real time data but then again this is a free service so what we get is pretty darn good to begin with.
